02 August 2010
Today New Jersey Congressman, Scott Garrett (R‑5th) visited employees at Jaguar Land Rover North America headquarters in Mahwah, N.J., writes Clinton Blair, Government Affairs, Jaguar Land Rover North America.
Most of Jaguar Land Rover North America's 250 U.S. employees are based in N.J. The Congressman, currently serving his 4th term in the U.S. House of Representatives, met with President Gary Temple and his leadership team to discuss Jaguar Land Rover's business here in the United States and review a number of legislative issues that impact our business. The Congressman then spent an hour in a town hall format speaking with employees about federal and state political issues, with an emphasis on taxes and the economy.
Afterwards, Congressman Garrett got an in‑depth look at the all‑new Jaguar XJ and Land Rover LR4. On behalf of all the employees of Jaguar Land Rover North America, we thank the Congressman for his visit and interest in our business.
