XKR175 DEBUTS AT McCALL'S PARTY

Jaguar's 75th anniversary celebrations got off to a great start at last night's exclusive McCall's Motorworks Revival party, a spectacular commencement to the Pebble Beach Automotive Weekend.

Unveiled at the VIP 'planes and cars' event at the Monterey Jet Center was Jaguar's stunning new, limited‑edition 2011 XKR175 75th Anniversary Coupe.

"For 75 years Jaguar has been building beautiful, fast cars. For me, this new XKR175 is the ultimate definition of a beautiful, fast Jaguar," says Gary Temple, President, Jaguar Land Rover North America.

Just 175 examples will be offered in the U.S., each powered by Jaguar's supercharged 510‑hp AJ‑V8 Gen III, its top speed increased to an electronically‑limited 174mph. Featuring a new aerodynamic body styling package, unique 20‑inch Kasuga 10‑spoke alloys and Ultimate Black paint, the 2011 XKR175 75th Anniversary Coupe has an MSRP of $104,500.

The main hangar at the Monterey Jet Center also showcased Jaguar's all‑new supercharged model line‑up, featuring the 510‑horsepower trio of XJ Supersport, XKR Coupe and XFR sedan.
