US chat show Jay Leno "helps out" on the Jaguar production line

US CHAT show host Jay Leno is a man who knows his Jaguars – owning several classic versions among his 123‑strong car collection.

So when he was offered the chance to film on the production line of the new XF model at Castle Bromwich he jumped at it.

Leno was recording the building of some of the first versions of the 2012 model year vehicles that will be heading for the USA, one of the premier car company’s biggest markets.

He joked with production line staff before filming a tongue in cheek sequence showing him actually helping to construct one of the new luxury cars.
