JAGUAR LAND ROVER NORTH AMERICA CELEBRATES PARTNERSHIP WITH P.S. ARTS AT THE LOS ANGELES MODERNISM OPENING NIGHT EVENT
29 April 2014
Last month, Jaguar Land Rover announced it will provide a $130,000, one‑year grant to P.S. ARTS as part of its global Corporate Social Responsibility initiative, and last Friday, we officially launched our partnership as a Presenting Sponsor of the Los Angeles Modernism Opening Night Event at 3Labs in Culver City, writes Leah Watkins‑Hall, Corporate Communications Manager for Jaguar Land Rover, North America.
Celebrity and VIP guests included: Julie Bowen, Jenna Elfman, George Kotsiopoulos, Ted Danson, Mary Steenburgen, among others. VIPs and influencers from the worlds of design, fashion, art and entertainment pulled up to the latest Jaguar and Land Rover models on display, including a Salsa Red F‑TYPE Coupe and a Range Rover, along with a Union Jack‑emblazoned 2014 Jaguar F‑TYPE Convertible and a Range Rover Sport. Guests posed and took photos with the cars before heading inside, where guests enjoyed LA Modernism’s wide array of art from more than 40 of the most well‑known 20th Century dealers in the world.
The evening’s festivities also included an art center, where guests had the chance to create their own take on modernism art, and several silent auctions, including an opportunity to spend a weekend at the Land Rover Driving Academy at the Quail Lodge and Golf Club in Carmel, complete with a full day driving lesson by one of our professional driving instructors.
Along with the proceeds from the silent auction, over $200,000 was raised during the event to support the organization’s arts education programs currently serving more than 15,000 students throughout southern California.
Stay tuned…we’ll be sharing more news about our involvement with P.S. ARTS and other charities in the coming months.
